Our Baby Story Time will still be from 10:30-11, but will be a lap-sitting/socializing session at our community table.

It’s an alternative to Black Friday that was created Kerri Johnson of Oakland, California in 2009. Plaid Friday encourages not only the support of independent businesses over large chains, but also an enjoyable day shopping for gifts instead of the competitive hustle commonly associated with Black Friday. The name was chosen to reflect the concept of weaving individual threads of small businesses together to create a strong community fabric.
