Enya is a sióg cumas. Sióg cumas means ‘fairy talent’ and it is the title given to the humans born on the day of a season change.
On the day of Enya’s birth, she was visited by a fairy. Being that she was born on a Summer Solstice, a visit from a fairy meant one thing: an elemental gift bestowed upon the newborn child. Now, eighteen years later, Enya hides her gift out of fear. Fear of harming others with her out-of-control abilities. The pain of her destructive power haunts her. What she truly desires is to use this blessing for good. But no matter how she tries to use it, the flames are never fully hers to command.
Suddenly, Enya’s world jerks to a halt when her sister is taken from their home. Rushing out to find her, Enya must rely on a fellow sióg cumas to find answers. But as she journeys through the forest with a goal of finding her sister, Enya comes to find so much more.
