RETREAT TERMS & CONDITIONS
Introduction
This Agreement, referred to as the “Agreement,” is made between the Retreat organizer (“Organizer”), specifically:

And you, as a participant in the retreat (“Guest”). By purchasing a retreat ticket, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions, including cancellation, refund, and transfer policies.

By purchasing a retreat ticket, you agree to these terms and conditions:
Your Ticket Includes: All items listed on the sales page at the time of purchase.
Cancellations & Refunds:
50+ Days Notice: If you cancel more than 50 days before the retreat, Golden Bee Bookshop will attempt to resell your ticket to the community.
If the ticket is not resold, you’ll receive 50% of the ticket value.
Less Than 30 Days Notice: No reselling, or refunds will be allowed for cancellations made within 30 days of the retreat.
Ticket Transfers: Tickets can be transferred to another attendee but written updates to Golden Bee Bookshop are expected in order to best serve attendees. Transfers cannot occur within 7 days of the retreat.
Retreat Changes: The itinerary, accommodations, and other retreat details are subject to change.
Assumption of Risk: By attending, you assume all risks (including injury or illness) and agree to hold Golden Bee Bookshop, LLC harmless.
Article 1 – Confirmation
To purchase a retreat ticket, you must complete the registration process via the website or email. Upon completing payment, you will receive a confirmation email outlining your registration details.
Organizer may require additional information (e.g., dietary preferences, roommate preferences) to finalize arrangements.
Itinerary details, venue information, and other updates will be communicated prior to the retreat but are subject to change at the Organizer’s discretion.
Article 2 – Inclusions & Changes
Your ticket includes only the items explicitly listed on the sales page at the time of purchase.
Organizer reserves the right to modify the retreat itinerary, accommodations, and activities due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather, vendor availability, or safety concerns.
Article 3 – Assumption of Risk
By participating in the retreat, you acknowledge and agree to assume all risks associated with the retreat, including but not limited to:
Physical Risks: Injuries during physical activities, such as hiking, walking, or other excursions.
Travel Risks: Delays, cancellations, or issues related to transportation, including flights or transfers.
Health Risks: Illness, including COVID-19 or other communicable diseases.
Property Risks: Damage, theft, or loss of personal belongings.
You expressly agree to hold Golden Bee Bookshop, its employees, contractors, and affiliates harmless from any claims, demands, or liabilities arising from or in connection with the retreat.
Article 4 – Liability Waiver
You acknowledge and agree that participation in the retreat is voluntary.
You waive and release all claims against Golden Bee Bookshop. for any injuries, illnesses, property damage, or other losses incurred during or as a result of the retreat.
This waiver extends to any activities facilitated by third-party vendors, including but not limited to excursions, or lodging.
Article 5 – Travel Insurance
Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unexpected events.
The Organizer is not liable for any financial losses due to lack of insurance coverage.
Article 6 – Media Release
During the retreat you have the option to sign a document providing consent to be photographed, filmed, or recorded, and grant the Organizer rights to use such media for promotional purposes.
Personal contact information (e.g., address, phone number) will not be shared or published.
Article 7 – Prohibited Activities
Guests agree not to:
Harass, threaten, or harm other attendees or staff.
Violate any local laws or regulations.
Guests in violation of these prohibited activities will be asked to leave.
Article 8 – Governing Law & Disputes
This Agreement is governed by the laws of New York State, United States of America.
Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in New York State.
Article 9 – Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Article 10 – Agreement Modifications
The Organizer reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The terms applicable to your ticket purchase are those in effect at the time of purchase.
